Beardmore Event Center & Courtyard Marriott Hotel

The Beardmore consists of an 18,000 square-foot convention and event center connected to a 54,000 square-foot Courtyard Marriott Hotel housing 122 guest rooms. The convention center was constructed using structural steel and metal studs, the hotel with pre-fabricated wood panels. The building’s exterior is wrapped in EIFS and stone veneer. A pre-function corridor connects the two facilities.

A retaining wall system was constructed upon completion of extensive earthwork in order to prepare the site for structures. Partition walls were installed in the convention center to accommodate various event types. Construction also included the installation of all audio-visual equipment.

The event center is used to host corporate events, conferences, weddings, and other social gatherings. The hotel includes an indoor pool, workout room, and various conference rooms. Each facility houses a commercial kitchen to accommodate high-occupancy. Construction was completed on an expedited schedule of approximately 13 months.
