Jim has lived in Fremont, Nebraska for more than 25 years and has served as Dicon’s Lead Estimator since 2014. His construction career began nearly 30 years ago and has since provided the opportunity to build a wealth of experience. After serving in various superintendent and project management roles for nearly 10 years, Jim transitioned into estimating and has never turned back. His combined experience serves as a tremendous resource in providing true value for our clients.
Jim has worked in all sectors of commercial construction ranging from multi-family housing to commercial office, retail, educational, and healthcare projects. Whether prospecting a historical renovation or a large-scale new construction project, Jim will derive an approach that balances cost-effectiveness and overall functionality.
Jim collaborates with the project owner(s), architects, and engineers throughout the design phase in an effort to balance savings and structural integrity in deriving a final budget. He will be responsible for competitively bidding the project among sub-contracted trades and material providers.
